About the Job
The role involves the development of a neuro-symbolic translation system, which will be used for planning purposes. The project entails developing this system and requires collaboration where you will primarily work with behavior trees and system visualization, while we handle voice and LLM integration for the system.
About You
To be employed as a teaching assistant (amanuens), you must be admitted to a higher education program at the first or second cycle level. We are looking for someone nearing the end of their engineering degree in computer science or media technology. You should have good proficiency in both English and Swedish, in speaking and writing.
We want you to have:
- Experience in using and integrating LLM systems.
- Experience with voice integration in various systems.
- Knowledge of Answer Set Programming (ASP) and SWI Prolog.
- Knowledge of natural language processing.
The following would be an advantage:
- Experience working with ASP and SWI Prolog.
- Experience working with context-sensitive and context-free languages.
Great importance will be attached to personal qualities and suitability.
Your Workplace
You will work at the Department of Media and Information Technology at the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

About the Employment
The employment is fixed-term for two months, with a workload of 50 percent of full-time per month. The position starts as soon as possible.
Employment as a teaching assistant is regulated in Chapter 5 of the Higher Education Ordinance.
